StayToronto, operated by Stay Toronto(“StayToronto,” “we,” “us,” “our”)
These Terms govern your use of stay-toronto.com and any stay you book with StayToronto, with a business address at 300 Front St W, Toronto, Ontario M5V 0E9, Canada. By booking a stay or using our site, you agree to these Terms. Please read them with our Privacy Policy.
1. Who we are
StayToronto offers professionally managed, furnished condominium suites in downtown Toronto for direct booking. We are the operator and your point of contact before, during, and after your stay — there is no third-party host.
2. Bookings and rates
- Booking is made through our secure booking page (powered by Beds24 at
book.stay-toronto.com) and is confirmed instantly once payment and details are completed. - Ratesshown on listing cards are indicative “from” nightly rates and are exclusive of taxes and fees. When you enter dates, the live rate for your stay is shown. The final total, including all applicable taxes and fees, is displayed at checkout before you pay — that figure is what you are charged.
- Taxes and fees include applicable Ontario taxes (HST), the City of Toronto Municipal Accommodation Tax, and any cleaning fee, calculated at checkout.
- Currency is Canadian dollars (CAD). Payment is processed securely by our payment provider Stripe; we do not store your card details.
- Booking direct means no online-travel-agency markup or platform service fee. We do not promise a lower price on every individual night, but direct booking removes the platform fees that Airbnb and Booking.com add (typically 14–20%).
3. Minimum stay
The minimum stay is one night. Some suites require a short minimum during peak summer weeks and major events; any minimum is shown when you select your dates.
4. Deposit, damage waiver, and identification
Before check-in we require either a refundable $500 security deposit (or a payment hold) or a $50 non-refundable damage waiver — your choice. We also verify a photo of your government-issued ID before arrival. A refundable deposit is returned after checkout once the suite has been inspected, typically within 7–10 business days via your bank. You are responsible for any damage, loss, or extraordinary cleaning beyond normal use.
5. Check-in and check-out
- Check-in is from 4:00 PM; check-out is by 11:00 AM.
- Check-in may be staff-assisted or contactless/self check-in depending on the suite; we send full instructions before arrival, usually about 48 hours ahead, once your booking details are complete.
- Early check-in or late check-out is $40when we can offer it — please request and we’ll confirm in writing. An unapproved late check-out is $50 per 30 minutes, and past 1:00 PM is charged as a full additional night.
6. Cancellations and changes
Direct bookings are non-refundable once confirmed — this is how we hold the suite exclusively for you. If you need to change your dates, contact us as early as possible and we will help where we can, subject to availability and any difference in rate. We recommend travel insurance for unforeseen changes.
If we ever cannot honour a confirmed booking (for example, a suite becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control), we will offer a comparable suite where possible or a full refund of amounts paid for that booking. That refund is our maximum responsibility in such cases.
7. House rules
To protect guests and our buildings:
- No parties or events, and no smoking in any suite or building.
- Occupancymust not exceed the number of guests booked and the suite’s stated capacity.
- Quiet hours and all condominium/building rules must be respected.
- No pets. Travelling with a service animal? Contact us before booking so we can review supporting documentation in advance.
- Parking is limited — please ask early. When a suite has a spot it is $35 per night; otherwise paid lots nearby are typically $20–35 per day.
- Treat the suite, furnishings, and building with care. Illegal activity, harassment of staff or neighbours, or breach of building rules may result in the stay being ended without refund.
8. Your responsibilities
You confirm you are at least 18 years old and that the information you provide is accurate. You are responsible for the conduct of everyone in your party and for any charges, damage, or rule breaches during your stay.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StayToronto is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim relating to a stay is limited to the amount you paid for that booking. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Website use
You may use stay-toronto.com only for lawful purposes. Content on the site (text, photos, branding) is owned by StayToronto or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction over any dispute.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows the current version; the Terms in effect at the time of your booking apply to that booking.
